Refund Policy
Last updated: March 2026 · Effective: March 2026
This page summarizes Pattern Grader's cancellation and refund policy. For the full legal terms, please refer to our Terms of Service §5.
7-Day Reverse Trial
All new accounts receive full access to Pro features for 7 days at no cost. No payment information is collected during this period. At the end of the Reverse Trial, your account automatically downgrades to the Free Plan. Because no payment occurs, there is nothing to refund.
Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro Plan subscription at any time through the Polar Customer Portal or your account settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- You retain access to Pro features until the end of that period.
- After the period ends, your account downgrades to the Free Plan.
- No cancellation fee is charged.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@patterngrader.com with your account email and reason for the request. We will respond within 48 hours.
EU/EEA Consumers — 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 calendar days of purchase without giving any reason, under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), Art. 9.
Exception: If you expressly consented to the immediate provision of the digital service and acknowledged the loss of your withdrawal right, the right of withdrawal does not apply (CRD Art. 16(m)).
Korean Consumers — 7-Day Withdrawal (청약철회)
한국 소비자는 전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률 제17조에 따라 결제 후 7일 이내에 청약을 철회할 수 있습니다.
Exception: Where the digital content was provided immediately upon purchase and exclusions under §17(2) apply, the withdrawal right may not be available.
Japanese Consumers — Cooling-Off (クーリングオフ)
特定商取引法では、通信販売に法定のクーリングオフ期間は定められていません。 ただし、消費者契約法 §9 により、解約に伴う違約金が平均的な損害を超える場合、 当該部分は無効となります。
Pattern Grader does not impose cancellation penalties. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current Subscription Period.
US and Other Regions
Refund requests made within 14 days of payment will be considered on a case-by-case basis. After the 14-day window, you may cancel your subscription to prevent future charges and continue using the Service until the end of your current billing period.
Polar, as our Merchant of Record, permits refund requests within 60 days of purchase for unused portions of subscriptions.
